Australian Politics Self-test

This is an interesting one.. to me anyway.

There were a couple of surprises for me, no biggies though. It said that I'm an Australian Democrat voter at heart, even if they have rarely got my vote, (and certainly not lately) given the current state of the party.

The big surprise to me was in the Cumulative Results that you see after you take the test. It showed that we really don't have the party in power that most represents the desires of the population. It just goes to show that people base their vote on many different things, not just their own interests.

If the minor parties ever got their collective acts together, given the results of this poll, the majors had better watch out.

Why is it, in Victoria, so much money is being spent by the government on drug busses and roadside testing for marijuana use, with no legal limit when the facts don't seem to indicate a problem?

Iron Chef America - McDonald's Subliminal Message

Here's a YouTube video that xxMANIACxx made of the now famous McDonald's subliminal ad in a recent airing of Iron Chef America on the Food Network.

Subliminal messages are very powerful tools that stike deep in the sub-conscious mind. This one seemed very obvious though, so I don't know if it counts as the most evil use of subliminal messages ever.

Magic 8 Ball - Spooky!

I just had the freakiest experience with the Magic 8 Ball on my personalised Google homepage. Every question I asked it seemed to ring true.

I only put it there for a bit of fun. I just noticed it sitting there, having not used it for weeks.

I'll try it again later, but I have to tell you, I am a little freaked out by it still. Is it some cosmic force at work, like a manifestation of quantum physics theory, or am I reading way too much into it?

Some of the answers I am pleased about. Some, not so pleased. That's life I guess.

These guys are very good and will soon be picked up for something big I'm sure. They are Wicked Awesome Films and it looks like they'll be the next big YouTube thing.
